Title: trouble starting a diesel?
Post by: jayjay29 on 04 June 2012, 14:11:16
Hi Guys,
Need some help with a diesel jeep cherokee. For some reason its become very difficult to start. Seems ok from cold but if not long used can be a bugger to start once running its great?????
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jay

may be getting a air leak in the fuel line.

sounds like a drain back problem on the fuel system, check all pipes for slight weeps of diesel where air can get in!!

Sort of agree with the above, but starting from cold ok? difference perhaps is from a cold start on the Jeep you tend to crank longer...... :-\ :-\ :-\ has happened to me once...... :)
