Title: Autobox or Electronic ???

Really tempted fate I suppose, my '97 3.0 Elite was starting to look a wee bit shabby due to my neglect so a fortnight back when offered a '01 3.2 that was half tidy at a good price I jumped in with both feet.
Only done 124 miles when today whilst out there was a dull thump from somewhere in the car (felt central below) the auto box changed up from 2 to 3, it did seem to be labouring..... & the electronic immobiliser light came on.
The box now works fine in 1 2 3 but slips like mad in D... too scared to do anything as yet, just brought her home!
Any ideas chaps you were brilliant over my previous problem..............

I thought there used to be one :-\ I seem to recall it being written by Ronald ~~McDonald~~McBurger but it got retired from the howto section with a comment about how it needed rewriting due to errors.

Correct Andy, with some useful pics IIRC, I had this bookmarked and when I wanted to change my auto box, it had gone. :'( :'( :'(

So it still exists? Any chance of a corrected version being posted JB? I still want to swap out my AR25 for an AR35 in my TD. :y
