Title: 1997 radio/clock display
Post by: mark3 on 08 June 2012, 08:40:31
My radio and clock display was black yesterday, took the dash out to find bad connection at the multi plug but since then the outside temp is just showing dashed lines, will this come back on on its own once a temp signal is sent/recieved OR do i need to investigate further?

Sounds too coincidental to me, I'd revist that connector.

I also noticed the left indicator warning lamp wasn't flashing but the indicators worked, so dash came out and sorted that problem, just bad connection at the bulb, BUT after much playing about with the connector for the radio and clock display i cant get any temperature reading to show at all so next step is the temp sensor...
