Title: Peuegoot 307cc 2.0 coil pack
Post by: Del Boy on 11 June 2012, 12:06:45
Got to change a coil pack on a 307cc this week, it's a 2.0 138 bhp model, anyone know if this is an easy job? Cheers.

Easy peasy Del ;) 6 screws to remove top cover(if fitted) then two or three torx bolts to release the coil pack :y

Still no better after the new coil pack has been fitted. If you sit there and rev it splutters, at low rpm and you put your foot down it splutters, you drive it and it's fine, apart from the low rpm misfire. French shit  >:(. What's next EGR?, air flow meter?

Plugs ?,cam timing ok ?

edit
Had one of them with a misfire, turned out that the new plugs that had been fitted had been allowed to fall down the plug holes and closed the gap on one of the plugs

The correct answer is to engage the brain and read the live data plus do a few actuator tests....
