I've just been outside trying to find the oil filler neck for the Elite, and I can tell you its bloody chilly here.  The temps are probably (just) double figures, but the rain and the biting wind make it seem much cooler.

Get the bugger lit, get enough petrol on the charcoal to start it, it won't go out.

A sure sign you are not leavign the coals long enough before cooking.

If you're in more of a hurry, carb cleaner is quite good as well, and burns off quicker.

Ukraine, a bit different to here with very cold winters and hot summers. SWMBO doesn't like really hot weather, where I do.

A bit different to the UK where it has only reached 9degC here today with much rain and localized flooding. Probably be a cold 5-6degC tonight. :(

Ive been in 40 + degrees on a couple of occassions - In egypt and Turkey.It didnt really agree with me tbh. 20-25 is just nice imo.
As for this sh1te weather - I have an omega and a motorbike to sell.The Omega in particular doesnt need much more than a good wash & polish,but trying to get a day when its not raining and Im not at work is impossible at the moment. >:(

Last day of our holiday in eastern Turkey in August about 15 years ago the temp. was 44 degrees.It was unbearable,sitting in the shade and constantly perspiring so much it looked and felt like I had just stepped out of the shower. At the pyramids in Giza a couple of years later,also in August,dont know exactly what the temp. was but it felt hotter than it had been in Turkey.
I thought I was going to die.Wife said "its nice & warm here,isnt it". ::) :o ;D

Kuwait in summer gets up there, 48º - 50º, and it was, to say the least, very interesting, dragging a 707 on take-off, into, what was invariably, a temperature inversion. Thankfully, I never had to test the 3 engine climb performance out of there. :o :y
