Title: Exhaust
Post by: cube on 13 June 2012, 10:44:13
Well after almost 14 months locked in a damp and cold lockup, my 2001 2.2 petrol GLS estate is back up and running. After spending £80, £30 for MOT n £50 for a battery all is well ;-0)).
Apart from the exhaust now blowing from the cat part of the exhaust ;-0((
I never realised how much pipe work would fit under a car !! Lol lol.

So anyway after cleaning the rust and putting plenty of exhaust paste in between the consteenia   (or however you spell it lol) where there was a small hole and put 2 exhaust wraps around, all seems ok for now.

I've been looking on eBay and found this item no 390338614163
Anyone used these people and any good ??

A bit skint, like most people, so don't want to spend loads.

Also poss stupid question, but would exhaust paint help protect and strengthen it ??

Thanks guys

Don`t buy a pattern cat. Have the flexi part cut out and get a new one welded in place
