Hiya fellas,
As per title, looking for a decent place to take my 7yr old lad to watch banger racing. Ideally within about an hours drive and one that includes a Demolition Derby (if H&S hasn't killed it off). Lots of races, noise etc required.
Any advice as always appreciated in advance.
Cheers :y :y

Might be worth a trip to Tongham Motor Club http://www.tonghammotorclub.co.uk/ (http://www.tonghammotorclub.co.uk/) who, confusingly, meet about a mile away from me in Four Marks. Not sure their fixtures extend to demolition derby but their meets are frequent and normally a good day out if the weather's good.
Never been there myself but Fleet Motor club, again confusingly, appear to meet at Aldermaston. http://www.fleet-motor-club.com/ (http://www.fleet-motor-club.com/)

Try the lakes meet, they sometimes like to razz their old bangers round the roads there. ;D

Your lad is over 6, so get a Ninja cart and let him race. :y :y :y :y

My Grandson was doing really well until he had a small accident, no injuries and my ex-wife verbally talked him from any further
racing. >:( >:( >:( He was doing really well, 1 * 1st and 1 * 2nd in his first season, and 1 * 2nd in his second season before he retired. He was very quick, hence the odd accident.

Ahh, good call. Forgot them. Meet over near Rushmoor Arena, IIRC?

Grass racing at Tongham sounds like fun..... Aldermaston looks good - As for the Ninja carts :y :y :y :y :y :y Going to have a serious look into the cost of this, I'd love it as much as he would and he'd get a few years use out of one kart :) :)
Cheers fellas :y :y
