hello all
i have idea to replace opel omega a ecu with new one using obd
is this idea have hope or forget about it

Which version of OBD? I assume you would like EOBD/OBD2 so that cheap modern scanners can communicate with it.
For EOBD you will need an ECU newer than 2000 (approximately) and that ECU will need cam and crank position sensors (& knock sensors?). If your engine has those sensors you would then be able to transplant the complete fuel and ignition system from the newer car to yours (not forgetting the wiring harness and immobiliser).

engine 2.0L 8V 1987
i would like to make it obd 2
so if i choice ecu from different cars not from opel or vaxhal will work with me
