I'm looking at a mig on the bay which is described as an "MV6 elite".
Its got the bose, and elite wheels, but seller insists it is an mv6.
I'm guessing he;s confusing mv6 and v6
Or was it possible to get a elite specced mv6?
Is it possible to look up the original factory spec (ie, mv6 or elite suspension)
from the chassis number? say by asking at a dealer? or can someone here do it?
chassis number is:
W0L0VBP35Y1180680
ta!

It really is one or the other mate. Perhaps added elite bits to an MV6?
Have a look at the rear shocks an elite should have a small airpipe going to it, you should see it about level with the top of the tyre. Wheels? Interior?

Post a link up mate lets look, as I cant see which one it is on there.

Its a 2000, the early facelift Elites, on the log books for some reason are listed as MV6 Elite, MotherT's W Plate Facelift Elite Estate is the same.
Ignore it, it is an Elite :y

As said, the above car is definitely an Elite. I have an Mv6 that has nearly all of the toys an Elite has.
Is it possible to look up the original factory spec (ie, mv6 or elite suspension)
from the chassis number? .... or can someone here do it?
I asked on here if it was possible to find out what my car left the factory with but was told it would be too much hassle to find out....

it was with earlier versions of the software I use.

Thanks for the info, everybody.
Just waiting now for MOT/quote for repair for my MV6 to decide whether to repair or break and replace.
It's been stood three months because of work commitments, but I'm hoping it won't need a lot.

they do get them wrong, funny enough my 2000 estate is also on logbook as a mv6 elite, i asked andy to check it out and he was surprised at the amount of stuff on it, some he hadnt heard of, self leveling suspension gives it away and the fact it has elite on doors
