today we tried to solve this intermittent cutting problem on friends mondeo..
mechanics claimed its the coil and cables.. I said it wont be as the car is at 70K kms.. ???
I opened the battery box for measuring voltages and bingo.. the original battery leak some acids..
I said before everything lets change this .. car owner and mechanics said lets try coil first.. ::) ::)
pay the bill , brand new coil in and result the same ;D
then they decided to try 50 amp (original battery 43 amp) .. a bit better but still there's problem (actually problem was not visible until we started the AC and lights) ..
later tried 72 amp battery .. and problem gone.. :)
and I said alternator and chasis needs checking also.. because alternator charging measurement is in the limit..
mechanics :0 cem :1 ;D
thanks Kevin for the detailed writing :y
