I was thinking today about what someone once told me many years ago. He bought a Rover P6 for £350.00 & when he cleaned it out he found a £50.00 note down the side of the driver's seat & so he got the car for £300.00.
What's the most you've found in a car?

Fiver in the coin box next to steering wheel - card holder bit :y

Only ever find couple quid at most! Made a few quid on my last motor though! Astra coupe 2.2, bought for £600, had accident, wrote off, insurance paid out £1000 for it plus I kept it took it to the scrappy and got another £450.
Quite happy with that

Coouple of months ago my bruv t boned a "taxi" who pulled out on him got £3100 for his Astra that he payed £2300 for. Bought a new replacement one for £2800 which is now being used as a TV car in the new Homeland series which is coming out end of the year (Blue estate pool car if you watch)
Gets £100 everytime it is used, although he can spend all day waiting for a 10 min shoot. Not bad though as he retired a couple of years ago

£200 pounds neatly stuffed behind the front courtesy light when changing the bulb in a BM 325TD, a few years back now, problem was, it wasn't my car, belonged to mate of mine who lent to me to get me out of trouble. when I quizzed Him about it, response was, er, hum, em, dunno, might be the Misses hiding it!
So we decided to have a stonking Beer session and decent Curry ( without his Misses knowing) and called it quits.
