Using old pallet wood, broken up two near work (kitchen people) going to get 4 to 6 strips a day now until I have enough wood!
Then time to make the veg beds - need to get the leeks in!

when i was a kid my dad used to send us down the garden to pull up the dinner, potaoes, carrots beans and so on,salads for tea. nice and fresh,cant beat home grown veg.

tomatoes, yuk!! the sight of rhubarb makes me wanna throw up.
home made beetroot was the best ive ever had. loved radishes too.

Mmm. That reminds me. Some nice rhubarb in the garden. Only useful thing growing there. I'd make a crumble :-*, but Mrs. KW hates it. :(

My Mum used to make superb rhubarb crumble. OK a few years ago (40 !) but :y :y :y :y :y :y :y :y

Can't go wrong with leeks. Stir fry with chicken, m'room, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, chillies & cashew nuts.
Serve with rice. Ying tong!!!!!!!! :P
