Title: Phone calls ?
Post by: omega3000 on 04 July 2012, 09:28:16
I have been getting phone calls maybe 1-2 a week on my mobile , when i answer it it goes dead or they put the phone down ...area code is southampton ... Should i be concerned as i just googled what im asking and various results come back one of which says the number is reported as scamming and the second is a possibility of me being charged for answering the call  :o Any idea or have any of you had the same  :-\
The most recent was 8pm last night and again at 08.50 this morning .

Try calling your provider and ask them if they can shed any light on the number or if it's a scam, :y

I never answer a number not in my contacts. I've learnt that lesson

I dealt with this initially by not giving my number to anyone, then junking the HD7 I was using to prevent apps inviting unwanted calls or advertising or whatever else and, finally, by resurrecting a Palm Treo that's been sitting unloved on my desk for some time now.

This is more than sufficient to keep me in touch with those very few people I need to be in touch with.

A jolly good result all round – me ole China. :-* :-*
