Fancy a run in some searing heat in some lovely undulating countryside?

I have just returned from Mallorca. The one day I bothered to read the thermometer it was 11am and said 29 degrees.
Boy it was hot there, have come back with sore throat aswell.
Spent most days in sea or pool. I could not live in that heat for long, I was happy getting off the plane and feeling the rain on my face.
Good luck to those of you who like it or live in it. I will go again, but it will be more likely to be spring or autumn.

I dabble, but mostly do triathlons. It is 27C at night here and 45 by day, I generally run between 5-10k once a week in the morning when it's around 30C and hit the gym most days around 5pm when the thermometer drops to around 40C.
Now I have the 'little C' under control I have my energy back. Lost 13kg since end of March, 8kg in the first 6 weeks. I did a timed 5km last week at 27minutes, I can deadlift 190kg, clean and press 85kg, squat 170kg and bench 90kg.
Getting my fitness back has made me feel in my 20s again, imagine having chronic fatigue then getting used to it and that fatigue going away. It's awesome. I am also working long hours without difficulty again.
I may have to reinstigate my Ironman goal for next year..... :y
