I also use the same manifacturer but product under a different name "Arçelik"..  European exported models are mostly tested for higher standards..  mine is in use for 9 years.. and at least 3-4 days a week..  if you dont wash car parts it will survive for at least 5-6 years.. ;D :y

I hope the "ç" in the brand name is not a soft "c". I would not feel comfortable with a machine called an "arse-lick". ;) ;D ;D ;D

;D ;D    "çelik" means steel.. the manufacturer actually holds minimum %20 of country production in different areas.. its a big old company.. they also produce cars..

Oh btw , i was reading about that stuff to keep the limescale at bay and apparently its a load of old tosh  ::) calgon  ::) I mentioned to swmbo that we will put some in and keep on top of this one from new , she read online that experts say you dont need to use it , just put a bit of soda crystals in it now and then on hot wash  :)

It depends where you live, down here in Basingstoke it is must. In the Midlands, with their nice Welsh water I would not bother.

If you do need to never pay the extra for Calgon (or whatever brand), just get the own brand from whichever supermarket you go to, it'll be the same.

Beko I went for too. :y

Replaced an Indesit that had given 15 years service without a glitch. Didn't bother fixing that one as it took me so long to get it apart to find the 'spider' had shattered and parted company from the inner drum, I just couldn't be bothered to do all that work again, and then have something else go wrong.
