If only the parts of job had been as glamorous son, I wouldn't have minded. ;D ;D

Mind you in my salad says I did have occasion to take interest in a very comely young woman and, while I didn't quite go to those extreme lengths to 'acquire her affections', I made a valiant attempt at it.

All I got for my trouble was a mercy opps and a very diplomatic, "Thanks darling that was lovely but I really don't see any future in this as I'm married". 

It simply remained for me to say to myself, ‘Well opps me!’, as I sloped off to think of what may have been and to face the inevitable period of celibacy which seemed to go hand in hand with the job - more often than not. :(
