Title says it all really.
[2003 saloon 3.2]
Changing my rear pads this evening and noticed the pins/anti-rattle wotnots are past their prime... So does anyone know if the vented ones are longer - logically they would be! ;)
thanks

Is it bad form to answer my own question?? ::)
These are the beasties... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REAR-BRAKE-PADS-FITTING-KIT-VAUXHALL-OMEGA-3-2-V6-2001-2003-6135-/190688026946?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c65e46142 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REAR-BRAKE-PADS-FITTING-KIT-VAUXHALL-OMEGA-3-2-V6-2001-2003-6135-/190688026946?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2c65e46142), says 3.2 so should be ok??

pin not same I don't think.
-
Non vented pins at least half inch shorter :'( anti rattle springs different width as well
-
Different lengths accordingly. You need the correct ones.
-
As others said, although the pads themselves are the same, the 'fitting kit' (pins and spring) are different between vented and non vented.

Thanks for the replies - I've ordered the kit listed for the 3.2, so fingers crossed they'll be the ones!?!?! ::)
