Push the door panel away from the window winder ,turn the winder and you should see a spring clip pull the clip upwards and the handle should pull off the shaft .

Umm  cant see a clip Rob  . . .unless it right tight to the winder itself .  Looked with a mirror with panel pushed away & cant see how it's clipped on  :-\ :-\ :-\

Looked in haynes book for vectra one which looks exactly the same (W reg this corsa)  . .  says use a rag between panel & handle & pull to one side  :-\  Tried that  . . . no joy as yet  :( :(

typical haynes about as clear as mud  :( :(

Not a very good pic but you can just make out the clip. Handle need pulling towards you as far as possible

The clip is like a horseshoe shaped piece of metal that fits tightly around the splined shaft, it is as you say close to the winder.

Removal with a rag works very well, I have found.

Thanks Rob,
presume clip is the narrow black line next to the winder  in the photo? (that looks like a rubber 'O' ring )

Cant see that on this one  . . . but going to have another good look  :y :y
