Title: Very slight amount of oil in the plenum/ TB
Post by: GastronomicKleptomaniac on 17 July 2012, 13:56:16
I've been fiddling today, and when I've taken the banjo pipes off the front of the plenum, and there's a very slight amount of oil sitting in the TB inlet. Is this anything to worry about?

Ah, grand. I can't remember if my previous ones had any at all... the memory's going in my old age ;)

Normal. The worry would be if there was no oil, indicating blocked breathers. The oil is from oil vapour from the crank cases. Hopefully. :)
