I was thinking of doing this in mine, but first of all, you will need a different cage to fit the unit, secondly, you need the CCRT display for the phone functions ect, but im not sure about anything else. Mine has the little stubby aerial on the roof and the microphone fitted inside the courtesy lights, so im assuming that if you were to put in the new unit and display, then im under the assumption that it should work, but im not a hundred percent sure  :-\

Any info from others would be good, as I would like to do this too  :y

Omega display types..........

Is the stubby little aerial on the roof the GSM aerial? and what wiring mods would it need?

The CCR2006 is a straight swop just need a different cage,it still uses the same display,as this is the change I made when I had a 2001 CD,this might be the best idea if you don't want to change the aerial and wiring mods like RobG said, hope this helps.

If you're going to got to the effort anyway, you may as well go the whole hog and find a NCDC2015 with CID and Telematics.  :y
