Small joys of life Cem, we also haven't had rain for two and half month. Some fructs like some don't do. I was in Iraq for a short time where the climate is quite hard compared to Europe's one still that there is no rain here. Lucky England, the climate change will be great deal for them...

In the Ukraine they have had an exceptionally hot dry spell for the last 6 weeks with temperatures up to 50degC. Over the weekend they had rain and changeable weather with a Tornado on Monday that ripped half the roof off my mother-in-laws animal house, with one sheet hitting and damaging their house roof. Branches have also been ripped off trees and damaged neighhbours house. Many other villagers have also suffered the same fate from this rare freak weather for Europe. >:( >:( >:(
Good news is that their crops were not damaged and the drought has been too late in the season to affect grain yields, where they typically get about 900kg, this year they have over 1000kg. :y :y :y The bad news is the drought has affected their vegetable crop with prices going up in the shops. >:( >:( >:(

RAIN ..... >:(
It's rained here every day for three weeks now ,except today which has been sunny and clear.
This I am certain of because I have been working on a house up on a mountain with spectacular views which could only be seen occasionaly between the clouds and sheets of rain . The winds have also been severe too , so bad in fact that my VERY heavy steel framed gazebo that I use for covering over my saw bench and mitre saws was literely airborne for about 5 metres .If I hadn't seen it myself I'd have never believed it . It destroyed itself upon impact . :'(
We're forecast more heavy rain on Sunday through to Thursday , I've had more than enough of it...........

I'm sorry to hear about your roof problems.
They have managed to repair house roof to stop it leaking, but animal house roof will take longer to do. :'(

Wife's family have had to do chores at 5am and finish about 10am and then start again at 5pm until 9pm as it was too hot the rest of the time. It is now cooler 28-32degC with periods of rain. Which is fine, if not in the middle of harvest and have no damaged roofs. >:(
Been a bad year for them as they lost many fruit trees and all their vines last winter where it was as cold a -36degC (Normally min winter temperature is -25). They then had to replant all vegetables in April where they were flattened by hail stones the size of tennis balls to a depth of about 150mm on the ground. >:(

;D ;D ;D ;D
unfortunately Scotts who come here for the first time dont know how dangerous the sun is :-\
the first day they stay whole day under the sun with a naked body and the next days are full of pain..
I have warned many people but thats not enough.. the idiot officials dont write any warning sign for this anywhere else >:(
Even my wife when she first time visited fethiye/ölüdeniz tried not to listen me and stay under the sun ;D
whole day I struggled to take her to shadow and force her to wear something.. and she tought I was jealous ;D ;D ;D ;D
the very first night she got the lesson ;D but I at least I was half successful :)
so anyone who visit here, be warned you can turn to pink even in shadow if you dont use 20 factor oils

I would'nt last 5 minutes in Turkey Cem. Even the UK summers are too much for me. I can take a dry heat & gentle breeze & i turn golden brown, really tan up a treat no burning but i can't take still air & humidity, it's stifling.
I come from grey cold England, it's how i like it & where i belong! :y

I son yarın kapalı paltomu alabilir gibi görünüyor , for the 5 day summer ;D :y

That is very hot and the high humidity will make it uncomfortable.
I love hot weather (hate cold), but would find those temperatures and humidity levels uncomfortable. So good luck on getting lower temperatures and humidity.
I have to use factor 30 and limit my time in the sun, so I tan slowly, as I have very fair skin.
It has now turned much cooler in the Ukraine only 26-30degC there, a couple of weeks a go it was 40 to 50degC during the day and 25-30degC at night.

yep.. I also use high factors and I prefer to tan slowly which is more healthy and permanent..
temperatures above 30 is dangerous (as these are shadow temperatures) and above 40 is slaughter.. very dangerous for elderly people even if they stay in shadow.. they have to drink lots of water which wont be easy for their heart :-\
besides their bodies can easily loose electrolyte stability .. and I dont start to talk about kidneys :(

When I used to do a lot of cycling in hot weather, especially on holiday in the South of France, I always used to use Isostar powder with water in drink bottles for this.
