Title: autobox fluid

Looking for oil type&capacity for ,52 2.2.
Any advice welcome.

Dexron III  is what you require ,available from various sources including Opie who have a listing on the forum.

Capacity from dry is around 9ltrs although you would never be able to fully drain as a fair amount is retained within the torque converter so if you are intending doing a fluid change expect to get between 5 - 6ltrs back in after dropping both sumps.

Full service schedule proceedure in maintenance section worth reading.

I prefer to use Titan 4000 ATF, but have used the cheap Halfords/Coma stuff in emergencies. Maybe placebo, but the Titan always feels better to me, enough to warrant the small additional cost
