Title: Elite Rear Wheel Arches Now Rust Free
Post by: robnobrakes on 28 July 2012, 11:59:39
Fortunately, just surface rust not rot.  My paint guy is an artist :y  He also did the arch areas where the rear doors close.  Paint match is perfect.  Sorry about the dust ::)

Nice job now do what I do...
Get an oil squirt can and fill it with Waxoyl diluted 30%  with white spirit. Peel back the insulation in the inside of the wheel arch and squirt the waxoyl down into the cavity between the wing and arch . This will run down the arc of the arch and seep in between the two faces slowing down any rust that is forming.
Also best to wash off any dirt or debris on the return face of the outside arch lip at each wash... :y
