What a Waste of x2 Omega 3.0 V6 Engines if you ask me :y
-
reminds me of the twin engin tracktor that was in paper years ago 100 cyilinder enging, and that other car think it was last year that had 25 moped engines...
-
That's awesome. Needs a Merit-spec shell with greyed bumper inserts and a 1.5D badge, though... ;)
-
Lot of work shoehorning that in 8)

Fair enough if you have the time and money to spend/waste. But can he seriously expect anyone to part with over 7 grand for this?

Because its shite....? IMO of course. :) ( ;D )
Not one WWD axle but two. 4wd axles are supposed to be linked. To give a measured amount of drive to each wheel. No? That could have all 4 wheels driving in opposite directions for all we know. ;D ...much less different power output levels front and rear with no way of linking them...rear wheels trying to overtake the front perhaps?
...which could be quite amusing in a wide open space with nout to hit, I suppose. :y
Can you imagine the heat and racket from the rear engine?
Admire the determination to finish a project. But...
Wouldn't mind a go though. :-X ;)

I like it, it's really subtle.
There is a long history of twin engined cars, it's been done sveral times with Minis. John Cooper was nearly killed in one when each engine selected different gears.
Have a google for 'wolfrace sonic' for a really impressive twin engined car. And then check out some of Nick Butler's other creations.

6 words - "we did it because we could" ;)
Its one of those "sleepers" - rather like my old 105E Anglia (into which I fitted a 3.8S Jag engine & box + various other necessary mods)

I know a bloke who has a smart looking 105E on RS fourspokes. Looking at it you'd expect it to have a snorty crossflow, or maybe a pinto.
Instead, there's a tuned 5.0l Mustang engine shoehorned under the bonnet. He reckons that it"goes quite well"!
That's a real sleeper.
