Hi ,
I have 2003 Opel Omega 2.6 V6 and my car's catalytics are broken . We saw that when we connect it to TECH2 . Now I need some advice from somebody who has experience and did something about the catalytic . Should I buy a new original one or an imported catalytic is enough ? . Instead of these If I cancelled it what will happen ? Also my engine temperature is a little bit high according to previous times . Nowadays it is around 95-96 . Before this problem it was around 85-90 . Is there any relevant between engine temperature and catalytic ?

If you can get them, you will be better with cats from a 2.5/3.0 but they will need a little work to make them fit

What problem are you seeing with the cats?
Do you have pre cat efficiency codes 0420/0430 as is common on the 3.2? Or something else.
What ever you do don't buy pattern cats. They are shite. Source from a breaker here.
Or try Steve at omega spares in Heathrow.

There is only a catalytic converter for 2.2 diesel omega in Steve's shop:(

Hold up, just seen your in Turkey. Iirc there are problems exporting to Turkey?
What is the problem with the Catalytic converters?

A Tech 2 won't tell you when the cats are broken. ;)
As mentioned, you might be getting a 0430 / 0420 code indicating that the pre-cat performance is poor. This is a common issue on the drive by wire V6s. Main cat performance will still be fine and if the car isn't failing emissions tests then the solution is to relocate the post-cat lambda sensors.

But when I start the engine first time there is a sound like there is a screw in exhaust system but only first 5 mins . Also there is a problem about engine temperature . It was around 85-90 C but now its increasing to 95-96 C in a least uphill . What can be the problem ? . It can be catalytics ???

What is the problem with the Catalytic converters?
Yes there is. You will stuggle to find any UK forum members that are prepared to export parts to Turkey. It simply isn't worth the hassle.

I still couldnt find any solution for catalytic warnings . Is there any rule for the positions of o2 sensors of my car or any rule which we have to obey while replacement ? Because there was only one warning on bank2 before I changed the sensors and I was thinking that it was a result of broken o2 sensor . I changed all of them and the sensor warning gone (bank2 sensor2) but catalytics are give error code . What should I do is there anyone who can share under side of o omega 2.6 to compare with mine .

help please...

Have a read of the following, it should give information on moving the sensors so they are positioned after the catalytic converter...

...you will need to fabricate new mounting points for the o2 sensors.
