From experience, and depends how bad the scratch is of course, 5 or 6 applications of a good quality polish, such as mcguires scratchx2, can work wonders.

Best of luck with it.

Could be a possibility mine was done like that especially round here at night , families letting kids of 6-8 year olds run a mock in and out folks drives on bikes till 10 at night ....had confrontations before about it , parents drunk and dont care especially at weekends  ::) thing is if they do stuff like that its difficult to prove and last confrontations nearly came to blows when kids were throwing stones at passing cars and even down at folks driveways  >:( But will be keeping eyes peeled now  ;)

I can recommend Scratch-X, it's all in the technique though. If your arm doesn't feel like it did when you were 14 years old and home alone, you're not doing it right ;)

Was it Kettering General mate?

A mate had the same done to his BMW there and went to the "pay booth" and got them to check their cctv - and got a result.  Police nicked the "keyer" from her reg no. and she got done.  My mate got £300 damages.

Worth a punt for a nose at CCTV  :y

Indeed it was kettering general while i was in for an mri scan , it was parked near the front main entrance so really would be shocking to see someone do that at a hospital  :( Will look into it , have to go back to the specialist in a week or so back at kettering general .

I'm often finding damage on my car caused by others, seems these days that if you work hard to get the car you want and keep it in a condition you want you are not allowed and some jealous low life has to step in and do what they feel.

agreed.. even a far cctv is better than nothing..

be careful on the dose of polishing, stop periodically and check the laquer..

sorry to hear that :(
