Title: steering question
Post by: plym ian on 08 August 2012, 21:50:25
does the power steering need a fuse. I only ask because earlier I went out to do my track rod ends all went well they weren't even seized :o

any way when I started car up the dash wasn't working so thought it was the fuse but went round block to test wheel straightness(tracking tommorow) as I turned the corner the steering wheel didn't come back to centre like it normally does I had to turn it myself. got back changed fuse whent out again and all was fine. so does it run off that fuse or do I hav another problem. cheers Ian

Servo tronic power stearing.

Other than a relay and a servo, and now a fuse, I know bog all else about it tbh.

Nothing electrical on the PAS on a 4 pot. Just a pump and steering box.
