Title: LPG - Still Congestion Charge Exempt ??
Post by: sticka_v8_init on 10 August 2012, 12:56:24
Hiya fellas,

As per title i'm a bit confused if some of the older cars that are on LPG are still Congestion Charge exempt.

There used to be the PowerShift Register that you could check the car against and it used to cover the majority of older cars with specific LPG systems listed in order to qualify. Looking at this list, which is dated 2010 has me wondering if this still applies.

Does anyone know if a) This PowerShift Register is still valid? or b) A web site listing which older LPG cars currently comply?

Cheers in advance for any help  :y

Last I looked there where a few cars that where exempt, but all pissy little wheezy engines. Was a couple of years ago now though. So may have all changed.

All emmsions based now I think, LPG is irrelevant for the charge now.

It was only ever for selected vehicles and kits but, AFAIK, the exemption has been binned now ::)
