My mate bought a 916SPS 'Foggy Replica' and was presented with the keys etc. by Carl Fogarty at the NEC bike show.  £21,000  :o

I can remember people paying that for them back in the day. They were thought to be an investment which would appreciate, but they didnt.Value dropped like a stone whhe he retired and the next bright young thing came along.
Cracking bike though, beautifully designed & engineeered, and the handling is as sweet as a very sweet thing, not to mention that V twin grunt. :y

Sorry peeps, an ex biker myself, but I could think of 16,950 other things to do with my money, if nothing else my garage roof leaks are leaking even more..... ::) ::) ::)

I'm thinking I need to become a biker - I've run out of space for car projects, but I could stack a good 8 bikes up the top of the livingroom..  ;D

I like this, but I'm not sure it would work as an investment.

If memory serves I've enjoyed just one quick blast on a Ducati........A Darmah from the late seventies. Red and white ( I think) :-* :-* :-* :-*
