Title: range rover l322 brake lights on with key out

hi gang , my ranger rover has devloped the above fault and im at a loss as what the hell is wrong,just wonderd if any one on here has come across it in the past have asked on several rr  sites and no responce so hopeing some one on here will have a idea .

first thing i tryed kevin  disconected it and still lit :'(

it could be a bad earth somwhere

have thought of that but there must be over 100 earthing points and more cable than in the space shuttle lol

May be worth a battery disconnect to reset everything provided you have radio codes etc

Edit just googled that fault,seems its quite common :-\

hi gang update all now ok ,it was ignition switch needed a good clean the contacts were coated in gunge so good soak in switch cleaner then wd40 .
