Title: gearbox problems 2.2cd auto

2.2cd auto has just had engine replaced and now won't change gear. Its as if the car is in limp mode. Its pulling away in a high gear and won't change gear by its self. The kickdown doesn't work either. I have noticed that inside the car next to the gear selector the lights flicker on and off and all light up at the same time? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Check that the large multiplug on the n/s of the gearbox has been plugged back into the loom. ;)
There are a couple of smaller electrical connectors on the box as well. Worth checking them also.

Also check the blue circular multi-plug near the battery is fully connected ;)
