Stopped in at one of there branches today,Ive seen some of the guys posts on there socket sets, while having a look got approached and asked would I be interested in 150 set, priced £149.95.o. Interesting though,I asked him are there any specials on the up coming bank holiday, his reply was not on tools sir, but I could let you have this last one on display for £99.95 :o.Could someone tell me is this a sales ploy or should I kick myself up the A--se ;D because I passed on bargin. :y
Cheers John..

That,s about the price some peolpe have paid using discounts and trade cards so about the lowest you would get.
Depends if you are in the market for a really comprehensive tool kit or just admiring them ;D...lots of kit for the money and its good quality so all depends on you requiremnts ..and how much spare cash you have to flash,as they say ;) :)

The only thing that stopped me is I already have a small Bacho 3/8, 1/4 drive Red box Brit Tool a set of Teng combination spanners. 6-19mm and Teng stubbys 10 - 19mm, An equivilent set in teng would cost 6 times that.
-
Its in the premium class, but possibly just not quite as good as Teng.
I have a couple of the Halfords sets, because its easy/convenient, either to lob in the boot if required, or to leave near where I'm working on the drive, rather than lugging toolchest down there.

They were whacking out 150 Piece sets for £89 at Chingford last weekend (on there 10% off everything weekend) so I assumed they where on the £99 offer elsewhere?
Just checked online and its now at £149, interestingly the new 170 piece is on offer at £129 at the moment, but fairly sure the £99 deal will be back soon which sometimes come with a 10% off if paid for on there 'Online and Collect'
