Hi can anyone tell me what the little sensor in the middle of the dashbourd at the bottom of the windscreen is ?and it's function ? Thanks

it a light sensor to tell the a/c to regulate the fans for whatever side of the car the sun is on. :y :y

So, oh oracle, where is the remote sensor ?

It's a radio frequency wotsit key fob on your car - no idea where the gubbins is (driver's side kick panel rings a bell :-\ :-\). Early cars had an infra red fob with a similar looking red-ish dome up by the sunroof dial.
