this morning driving to drop my boy off and went to pull out of a side road and a big 4x4 came screeching to a holt not 2ft off my n/s front wing :o :o
I just clearly didnt see it even though he had lights on and it was white to. swmbo was shook up I apologised to the 4x4 driver who was clearly fuming, so went on my way. 1/2 hr later I clearly cut a driver up without even looking in my mirror car behind slamming his brakes on and blasting his horn :o
normally I'm a average(won't say good ;D) but don't know what was wrong with me.
just wondered if anyone else has days like that where it's clearly your fault and no one else's. Ian

The other day I was closing in on stationery traffic at some rate of knots on the motorway when my wife shouted to me watch out. I was 'looking but not seeing' if that makes sense.
Being deep in thought doesn't help either. ::)

yer same here, running late for work this morning I selected P instead of D.
You try driving 4 miles in heavy traffic dying for a D...

Been there, done that more than I care to admit Ian! ::) All I can say is my Guardian Angel is overworked and definately underpaid! ;D ;)

The point about going onto auto pilot is true, When I was driving to work (retired now) would get to work and not remember parts of the journey.
Once pulled out in front of a lorry, who flashed me, turned out it was from Europe, caused all sorts of problems, turns out they use their lights different to us >:( :( never driven in Europe. Still we all missed one another :y
