has had enough of it im Threaders. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Spent all day sorting out the Gas leak that i thought we fixed but clearly didnt :'( :'( :'( :'( but its never that easy had to take the vapourizor out to undo the cap to replace the seal but to take the Vapourizor out you have to drain the coolant ( just bl*#+y changed it !!!!)
Well put it all back together and low and behold still leaking so round again :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( but this time she decides she going to cut my arm open and i now also have a lump / bruise forming between my knuckles which doesnt seem to wanna stop swelling. icepack required i thinks lol
Now i am just waiting for the liquied gasket to set then im going to test her again.
so god help her it best have worked or shes toast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried spraying soapy water on all the suspect areas? When you find the leak you'll see it straight away :y

ihave found the leak but there is a v tiny chip out the leading edge fofthe mating surfaces so the standard o ring seal doesnt seal it :(
have gone into work and robbed some neoprine and made a flat seal that goes beteen the surfaces and filled the chip with liquied gasket. tightened it up and now i wait how long does vx liquied gasket taketo go off?
now i am on the hunt for an lpg filter as hewants to bill me £40notes for one lol
and less of the old you pmsl ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

24 hours normally, but I guess it depends on how much you used. Did you clean the surfaces with a suitable solvent?
You could try eBay for filters, some fairly decent prices on there.
And you said it yourself, you ARE the SENIOR service. ;D

didnt need alot just enough to fill the v some chip

If it doesn't work the way you have tried how about filling the chip with JB weld and when dry filing/sanding it smooth so the O ring works again on its own :y

not a bad idea ....
well hubbys neoprine gasket didnt work just cut through it :(
so i have just removed the end and cleaned it all up
ptfed the thread then put liquied gasket round the mating edge then put the o ring back on then added a little more liquid gasket so when i tighten it up it squeezes out filling said chip. letting it set over night and pray it is enough
i am on the verge of tears she is beeting me and i dont like it!

If you can't reliably repair your vaporizer, you maybe able to get a cost effective replacement off fleabay.

thank you :y :y have been looking through ebay but cant find the right one i hav a AC stag 300-4 kit fitted to my motor.
managed to find the right size filter though.
still praying the liquid gasketand o ring work.

it worked all sealed and been to the garage
shes now on the UKLPG register yipppppppppppppppppyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
only thing is the temp guage was really irratic on the way home. hopefully its just where i had dropped the coolant yesterday and not cos i could have possibly got the coolant lines crossed on the vaporisor... :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

think you live up near my mum next time im up that way ill come have a play for you, for some reason i have a good nose for sniffing out gas before anyone else lol
