I don't know about you lot, but I'm getting very tired of green propaganda written in the form of editorials either for some third party front or as newspaper editorial, or both. In this one they purporting to fix fundamental and fatal problems with windmills. >:( >:( >:( >:(
Once you scratch between the surface two of the three authors are directors of a windmill planning and building company, so as you can see another objective, unbiased article NOT. Joseph Goebbels and Lord Haw Haw I'm sure would be very proud of them and their deceptions. >:( >:( >:( >:(

Just an obvious question for the articles authors, how do you predict the peaks, troughs and strength of gusting wind 24 hours in advance? Maybe you use Mystic Meg or Uri Geller as the best UK forecasting service the Met office, would not have a clue. Fantasy and propaganda are fine until they reach the real world of reality. :o :o :o :o
Unfortunately, as Germany is currently finding out the more wind power you have the greater the volatility and the more difficult it is to get base load capacity on fast enough to cover the troughs. Flickering lights are one thing, industrial machine electronics and computers crashing are quite another. Hence the considerable industry pressure for the completion of 23 coal powered power stations. :D :D :D :D
You can fool some people some of the time...... ::) ::) ::) ::)

Nice to see that, though, the top comments in the article Rods linked to have already exposed this conflict of interest.:y
