Title: Anyone know York?
Post by: cam2502 on 31 August 2012, 14:11:27
Swmbo and I are off to York tomorrow for a night, can anyone recommend a good place to stay? Preferably with a bit of haunted history and prefer to be as close to the centre as possible.
Already rang the golden fleece, they're fully booked :'(

Yes that was me ;D. We're going to  elvington tomorrow so swmbo can drive the super cars, she's having a go in the Aston Martin and the lambourghini, so we thought we may as well stay overnight in York.

Think we stayed here once:

Was happy with the place and only a short walk from the centre. Looks like it may have changed hands since.. Not sure. That area has a lot of B&Bs so I'm sure you'll find something. :y

Bull Inn , Gristhorpe? Not very central but good food............ ;D ;D

50 minute drive next morning.

There is one of those "discount shopping" parks on the York ring road might be of interest to spend the adrenalin.
