I found that using cruise control at 65 - 70mph I was getting 45-50 miles per gallon according to the on board computer.
That's switched on the "bull5h1t" light for a start. ;D

This i think
"There is paperwork to show cam belt & pulley kit was changed at 56,101 miles however we were told by previous owner that he had the cambelt changed when he purchased the car which was at 92k miles. Personally I don't see why he saw the need for this as the recommended interval is 80,000 miles on the MV6 engine (post 1997) it was 40k intervals on the earlier models. So as far as cambelt is concerned, its done."
-
Both those but something more important ;)
-
Either he's totally ignorant of what the inst. cons. figure means, or he's hoping to sell to someone who can't think it through for themselves.
If you ignore his comments regarding the cam belt, (and the reg. plate), it's probably worth a look for someone in the market.

Think i'd better add, if this is someone car off the forum, im sorry, if someone off the forum is bidding on it, think twice at least go and see it ;)

eBay mph (http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1208562472)
I've already asked him if he could show me how to get that kind of mpg out of a 3.0 Omega as I need 2 gallons to go as far. Also has he nearly perfected perpetual motion.
I'd had my fill of bull$hit before I got to the cam belt bit.
The car doesn't look too bad, but why do sellers feel the need to bull$hit in their blurb?

On the early Sat Nav cars the Sat Nav driver was on the rear tunnel where it got kicked to death by the kids. It was moved the the load bay roof shortly after ;)

And grille, well at least when compared to the S reg Elite picture in your signature.

Look at the comparison between the two picures above ^^
Also when you look down the side of the car for sale you can see that the bottom of rhe front bumper is black and not colour coded like the rest of the car.

Bingo :y
I noticed there were no headlight washers or more to the point no holes for the headlight washers and asked if it had been in a shunt. The reply was yes but only a very light bump and theres a small dent on the bonnet slam panel. I then asked if the car had HIDs as washers were needed for the MOT, if it was on the HPI register and if there was any proof of the cambelt change. The reply was the car is sold and will be removed off Ebay shortly, that was yesterday afternoon, so buyer beware :-X

I`d never have spotted those issues; `there was me thinking it might`ve been a 'deal' (not that I can afford it anyway!). :'(
