Any Blackberry fans on here?
My fone contract is up and I fancy getting one. I really only use a mobile for calls/texts and checking email - but find the small display and normal keyboard on my Nokia 6700 a bit limiting.
I have no need for an Android or iPhone so that sort of leaves Blackberry really, doesn't it? I know that there are Nokia windows phones out there (Lumina?), but in the past Ive had HTC/O2 Windows phones and never really used any of the functionality.
It must have Bluetooth & 3G (for use with my Voda suresignal) and ideally GPS for occasional use, am not fussed about WiFi. So, ormed with that - has anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks - Rob

The new windows are very good, but it all depends on your needs. Best bet is pop to a phone shop and test them out

Ive just looked at that - its a really good deal. Only problem is that I have no O2 coverage at my house - so its a non-starter .......

I have both Nokia and Blackberry. The Blackberries almost always seem to have a weird bug or two and need a hard reset once a month. The Nokias just go ad-infinitum, although I've heard the new windows one (Lumia) has some bugs. Apparently the bugs weren't there on the Symbian system but when they put it on Windows there were unexpected consequences!

Dont get the lumia!! My missus got one and neither she or I could figure it out at all, to be expected of a woman but I'm normally handy with gadgets and I absolutely hated it. I've had androids myself last few phones and personally love it, cant fault it at all!!

None. They are all shite. Shit build, poor usability, the OS is appalling, pathetic app base.
Go Windows or Android. Pick a handset to suit your needs :y

Lumia is a crap windows phone, andriod is the way to go :y

Gooseberrys are dead. One of 2 things will happen to RIM in the next 18 months, bankrupcy or buyout by the corporates who buy into the wrong shite (so MS or HP currently then ;D).
The Windows Mobile future isn't certain, but any smartphone now, I'd only consider Apple, Android and WinMo 8 when its out in a few weeks. And then see what your priorities are from there. I can't use Android, because the mail client is so abysmally bad, and email is one of my priorities, so I'm waiting to see what WinMo 8 is like before committing to my next phone.

Harsh statement without knowing the OPs requirements ;)
Although the current Lumia are WinMo 7, which is not compatible with WinMo 8, which is where all development will go.

I have a Blackberry Bold 9900, not had any problems with it but the app store isnt a patch on android or apple and they charge for virtually all of them, the ones worth having anyway.....
When this contract is up am going back to android.
