Title: C20SEL engine
Post by: MartinVee on 03 September 2012, 20:11:03
Hi guy`s...This has probably been asked so many times, so bare with me.

I have a 2lt C20SEL Ecotec engine and man box, taken out of a early
German built Omega, with harness, injection, and ecu. What`s different, if anything,
to the Vecra B engine, and what`s the horse power. It`s intended for a
kit car.

regards....Martin

Ecotec is 16v .

I am guessing its head has more in common with c20le / c20let. Not sure thou. Anyway x20xev ( which is your ordinary uk 2.0 16 ecotec) was based on the cossworth head design of the c20let anyway.

Thanks for the prompt replies. it`s a 16v, and brand new, so I`d like
to use it, but it weighs a ton with the box.

regards ....Martin.
