SORN, no tax due .. so its officially "off the road" .. at least that's my understanding
"askMID"
http://ownvehicle.askmid.com/askmid.aspx
also shows it as uninsured which would agree with the SORN
SORN is valid until 1 November 2012 (1 11 2012) at which point it needs renewing

Just my opinion .. nowt else .. :)

^^ as Entwood says. :y

I'm glad you told me that .
I interpretated it as SORN not due so not applicable and date of Liability as when the current tax was due for renewal.
Thanks Lads .

Just out of interest, the missus told me she'd been told by her insurance company that the law had changed this year and even if it was SORN'ed and on your drive you still needed some sort of insurance. Surely that cannot be true? That's just an excuse to print money for insurance companies, isn't it?

4r$e about face ....... ;) If you have tax/VED on your vehicle, it has to be insured ie if your insurance runs out, then you either have to re-insure it or you SORN it. You can't just leave your vehicle taxed in the garage with no insurance. :y

Unles you had laid up insurance to cover the vehicle while it is in storage/garage/driveway and not in use.You don't get no claims bonus on laid up insurance either :(
