Think this is on a 30 second refresh .

That is a pile of expensive junk!
-
Yes I'll be quite interested to see it righted and taken away :y
-
I'm pretty sure I've seen that crane in Plymouth before. it is gigantic
-
It's dark :-X ::)
I'm assuming it's the Cost Concordia? My old man was meant to be on board when it capsized but they bumped him (consultant) in favour of a paying customer :o

Its a long wait, wont happen until next year.....assuming it does not break up during the winter storms (the super structure is already bending)

They're gonna need a bigger crane. . .

Nah, its only there to attach floats

I think they said it would take about a year to right it and tow it away .

Not moved , great watching the little boats coming in and out ...

Its not going to move .... i think they are building the platform cage thing at that side for when they re-float it.

This is the one that was in Sutton Harbour (Plymouth) to set up for the Americas Cup. Same colour but the rigging looks different to me :-\
It says 'Mtador 3' on the jib (or it did before I reduced the resolution......)

It's a completely different crane ;)
-
It is actually 'Matador 3'. It seems I can't type and my memory is failing :(. This crane only came in to shelter from the weather.
The Americas Cup used two cranes standing on the quayside & some rather impressive lifting gear attached to the container ship the yachts came in on.
Looks like the crane in the photo is an Italian one (the 'Micoperi 30')
