Hi folks

Trying see where the engine number for this engine is. Anyone any ideas?

As far as I remember, look low down on UK passenger side of engine, towards rear.  I have a picture in my head of a flat surface at an angle somewhere down there with engine number stamped into it.  Think you need a torch to see it even in daylight. 
I think it's listed on your V5 form though, which will be much easier to read.  ;D

See your oil breather pipe going towards the top of the engine just behind exhaust manifold? Behind it stamped on the flat surface vertically. Its actually the furthest part of the block and its just next to the bellhousing.

Does it make any sense? If not will take a picture of the block i have in my garage.
