Hmm... Tricky one as there was a similar incident last year at the same place but the drivers were reversed. That siad, he did run him off the track and that's just plain stupid ;) ISTR that he whined like a baby last year when he was run off (even though he made the pass anyway) :-\
But are you really going to judge the whole race from one corner? ::) ::)

Actually there was some really good overtaking this race, not just artificial. And, as others have already commented, someone stuck a rocket up Perez's arse and he drove the wheels off the car. Definitely my driver of the day :y

Agree with Cleggy & Varche great race cautious at the start possibly because of last week at Spa but after that great viewing plenty of overtaking in the midfield and Perez well five laps longer and he would have put Hamilton under right pressure. :y :y

I dont think so Ralf. Vettel deliberately put Alonso off the track at close to 200 mph. Drivers didnt do that years ago,because there would have been a very good chance the bloke would have been killed. They had to have more respect for one another then.
Vettell is a petulant spoilt little boy imo,and when under pressure exhibits similar traits to his fellow countryman, Scummy.
Personally I think he should have been black flagged.
As for the overtaking - its great to watch,much better than a few seasons ago when it rarely happened,but it is mostly artificial induced by DRS & KERS. If they get reasonably close to the car in front along the straight,its now difficult not to overtake as the one behind can open the DRS and the one in front cant. Its Disney F1 tbh.
Change the rules on aerodynamics so they can run nose to tail and the ones who are prepared to stay off the brakes until they are looking god in the eye will produce naturally spectacular racing.

all the 'good' races with overtaking appear to happen at the faster tracks now, the older more condensed circuits like 'monaco' are to small, the cars far exceed the tracks capabilities.
we need more fast tracks that are suited to the cars now.
good spectacle though

Monza is one of the oldest tracks on the calender. Its been almost impossible to overtake at Monaco since the mid sixties. ;)

Its not about school or being fussy, its just basics.
You clearly could not understand the post by Chris, because you asked what is he on about? Why could you not understand it? No spaces, makes it harder to read.
Same with no punctuation, you have no point to pause. My grammar is awful, but at least most of my posts are half readable.
Try reading some of your posts back, out aloud, only taking in a breath when you see a full stop or comma ;) - Its the same when just reading it :)

Without taking sides at all .. the internet, and any forum, is about communication .... there are two sides to that .. the person who "sends" the info and the person who "receives" it .... if the "receiver" does not understand what was intended the whole process is pointless.
It is the "senders" job to ensure that his message is understood... not the "receivers" to try and decipher it.
Any post that does not do this is simply a total waste of time, as it defeats the whole idea of communication....... which is a two way thing.

Nobody (I hope) is having a go, its all about trying to make ourselves understood when posting. We lack the emphasis in a spoken word, so are more realiant on making whats written understandable.

I think he would be better placed at McLaren, its the team that got him where he is.
Although I think the big pull to the Mercedes works team for him, would be Ross Brawn. With his tactics, a winning car & top driver are a force to be reckoned with!

If he does it would indicate to me that he has gone for the $$$ - 65 million of them over three years according to the press. That would be a shame. Theonly cars possibly worth jumping into from the one hes in now would imo be a Red Bull (no vacancy currently) or a Ferrari,but could he be team mate to Alonso ?

Think there were other issues there, I believe they respect each others ability. But not sure they would want to be team mates again, can't see him going there.

Alonso tried to blackmail Ron Dennis into officially making Hamilton number 2 driver.He refused,and the whole Mclaren/Ferrari gate, can of worms was opened. I would imagine Ferrari would be more accomodating to Alonso,s request. They have a long history of favouring one driver and stitching up the other. ;)

Ferrari and Red Bull have given short shift to Hamilton's management company according to most reports which only leaves a move to Mercedes if Schumacher retires. If he goes it will be for the money, McLaren have the better car despite Ross Brawn's reputation and let's face it Mercedes could pull the F1 budget at short notice. Personally I would like to him stay and show some loyalty to McLaren and Ron Dennis.
I think all will be revealed after the next race in Singapore

Vetal went a bit far there, by pushing Alonso off.
Had to be a penalty. Could have been a nasty prang. Very nasty. :(
