Title: european breakdown cover.
Post by: tidla on 18 September 2012, 18:02:47
I know a few do the rounds in their Omegas with or without caravans. As most are over 10 years old, what does breakdown cover cost?

Any recommended companies?

Bad experiences , things i will defiantly do next time?

From memory, my Elite would have been just under £40 for a fortnight. The Insignia I took was £34 IIRC

Try ADAC, its German version of the AA. For around £80 for the year you get full Europe cover, with AA cover in UK.

I pay, £142 a year for full European (through LV), but I do 4-6 trips a year. Covers full breakdown/hotel etc etc. Mine is a late 2002 so goes over the 10 year old barrier for the next renewal.
