i wanna wire my desktop pc into my technics amp..is that just 3 wires cos the negative (-) is common.....

yes thats what i would need. but pc is not near amp so scrapped the idea and gonna do it by bluetooth :y

You'll regret bluetooth. Use a cable.

You'll regret bluetooth. Use a cable.
gotto go drilling holes in walls to take cable out then in again.....dont you rate bluetooth

No! Use a cable, unless the quality of the music being played is not significant.

ok so i scrapped the bluetooth idea and got the cable brikhead shown job done. :y.At the rear of pc is 3 ports..speakers....line in....mic...and i am plugged into the speakers port....but when i am not blasting music out i plug the monitor speakers back in that port..

can i not buy like a connector with a switch on so both leads are plugged in and i just switch between the two :y

You can probably do what you want with a headphone splitter of the type that can be used to feed 2 pairs of headphones from an MP3 player, etc. This will send the signal to both devices at once. Just mute the one you don't want to hear. :y
