Title: Going For a Sunday Drive..
Post by: OmegaAnglesey on 22 September 2012, 23:00:16: Going for a drive just for the pleasure of it... driving around the mountains roads and around the countryside tomorrow "Sunday" topped up with £40 of Petrol no real route plan just let the fuel tank do the talking ::) :) ...
(Just me and my comfy Omega having some alone time ;D )

I used to do this in my Astra back up in the Pennines and around Derbyshire, especially driving the infamous Snake Pass between Manchester and Sheffield, brilliant, i racked up so many miles driving all the roads in the Peak District. Cant wait to take Katie up there :-*

The exhaust twin tailpipes was an attachment i bought on eBay but halfords also sell it :y

Another Sunday Drive a Much Bigger one at that too... Roughly £55 worth of petrol used and the distance covered was around 180+ miles to Machynlleth from N.wales (there and back 180 miles)... And what a lovely village it is too have been though there many years ago but did't take much notice back then, Plenty of character in and around Machynlleth, Only problem the Omega's size is a bit of a problem on the Narrow roads in town and in the surrounding area's (got home safe and sound without incident), There are plenty of lovely sights such as Coal fire smoke coming out small chimney pots, small well detailed bridges, mountains everywhere, proper looking houses none of this modern crap give and take the odd one lol. Just a lovely sight hard to imagine such a horrible crime could have taken place here, There was plenty of pink ribbons, balloons everywhere even on cars, tractors lorry's etc. There where plenty of searches taking place all over the area many different blue light services and lots of press, TV vans, BBC, SKY, ITV etc... Overall a nice day out even the weather was nice :) ...

Post by: OmegaAnglesey on 17 February 2013, 19:26:15: Well I've just been for a 240 i'sh mile Sunday drive seen as it was a lovely dry sunny clear sky day with no bloody clouds, rain, snow, ice, and wind in sight all day :) Bring on the Summer.

Went through several nice rural places (in superior Wales ;D ) [size=78%]Caernarfon, Porthmadog, Trawsfynydd, Dolgellau, Bala, and some smaller villages etc[/size] ...

Must have used around £40 in petrol driving at average 50-70mph..

And the Omega was as smooth as silk with no problems didn't miss a beat :y ...apart from the odd fart in front which where dealt with accordingly.

Well pleased.
