I am fed up of vid clips that buffer on my rubbish 3G .
So Search free Utube downloader. Comes up with a Cnet offering. Figure 17million users can't be wrong.

Despite not clicking for any add ons etc it altered my Firefox toolbar and added some "incredibar" cr4p. Immediately started getting "offers". GRR
downloaded two clips. First an hour of some excellent chillout Spanish night music (no video). second a popular Music video clip(HD.AVI). Went to play that with Media player and no picture. GRRR just sound. Tried Quicktime just hangs. Maybe my PC can't cope with HD.
Spent ages getting rid of the Utube downloader and the incredibar. GRR
Anyone got any recommendations for a free device that can be operated by a moron (or by me!) that doesn't have any nasty tricks up its sleeve? I use Firefox but could use I.E just for Utube. Oh and it is a desktop PC.

Realplayer (free version) is quiet good.
Also seem to remember Ive used 'aTube Catcher' in the past to convert some Flash files to watch on the mobile.
