These are the seats fitted to my 2003 GLS, anyone seen them or anything like them before? Non heated and only electrical adjustment for up and down.

Uhm that's what I was thinking. I had a very late Carlton & that didn't have side air bags.

The Carlton didn't have the center rear headrest either.

Yes I know that, I was just making an observational fact ;)

I've had look through eBay & found this]=ttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Senator-Bii-3-0i-CD-/221126859772?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item337c301bfc#ht_739wt_1186]this (http://=ttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-Senator-Bii-3-0i-CD-/221126859772?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item337c301bfc#ht_739wt_1186) proper Vauxhall - its seats are nothing like Elite Pete's & the only Carltons with leather are Lotus which are different again.
I would have thought though, that it wouldn't be too difficult to retro side air bags to a seat ........ :-\ :-\

Just noticed the door cards look like leather too

Not sure about that, IIRC my Diplomat did as I took it out because it obstructed thte rearview mirror.

Bases look like Vauxhall Vectra C / Signum Elite
-
I reckon it's been re-upholstered - the stitching dont look right to be Vx factory - IMHO

Same here - from dim memory aren't they just "seamed" along the base?

Don't know about the DPM but my CD spec didn't have one.

Holy thread resurrection, I know - I got bored at work and was contemplating swapping my seats (again) - how likely are Saab 9-3 or 9-5 seats to fit into an 03 Omega? Ignoring the wiring, I just mean physical fitting, side-rail spacing, etc...
ETA - I'm basing this idea on them both being GM products
