I tend to use this site quite often:
http://www.sat24.com/en/eu (http://www.sat24.com/en/eu)
It shows the European rainfall radar in animated format. Very clever. :y
But what is more clever is that every time I visit I get gumtree ads around the radar map and each one ONLY shows Omegas for sale.
Spooky! ;) ;D ;D

I looked and thought strange, no ad's...
then I remembered I am running Adblock Plus so rarely see ad's anyway ;D
disabled...and got ad's for Fluke meters....which I have looked at in the past somewhere Im sure.

None ive found, I used to use it on here to hide avatars when I had a bandwidth issue.
dont anymore (plus this software can block them all anyway) I just use it for ad's, very handy, the occasional site detects it, and asks you to disable, but not a problem really.

Only downside is that sometimes people will be chatting about ads and you can't see them ;)

Google on enabled websites collects data on what you have been viewing and then projects a suitable advert in a Google adsence panel on another website that generates revenue through such means.
Many information websites use the revenue to pay for the site's development and running costs.

Spooky that it is only Omega ads OR spooky that your web browsing is being monitored and ads tailored to your needs?

Of course I know what's going on, but surprised to be "Omega'd" when just checking the weather! ;) ;D ;D

Watch out for the ads that state the car has brand new wiper blades when the weather report forecasts rain. ;)
